Who runs these
Every giveaway here is organised by RareFreebies (rarefreebies.com). RareFreebies is a fan site and is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Supercell. Supercell has no part in these giveaways and no responsibility for them. Questions: contact@rarefreebies.com.
Where a giveaway names a sponsor, the sponsor supplies the prize. RareFreebies still runs the draw and handles the claim.
Who can enter
- You need to be 13 or older and have a RareFreebies account (sign in with Google or Discord).
- If you're under 18, ask a parent or guardian before you enter. We may ask for their permission before handing over a prize.
- Open worldwide, except where local law doesn't allow it. If a prize can't legally be delivered where you live, we'll say so and draw again.
- One account per person. Extra accounts are removed from the draw.
- RareFreebies staff and anyone who helped choose the prize can't enter.
Entry is always free
Entering never costs anything and there's nothing to buy. No purchase changes your chances, because there's nothing to purchase.
How entries are earned
Entering gives you one entry. You can earn more on the giveaways that offer them:
- Bonus tasks — joining the Discord, following on X, or turning on alerts. One extra entry each. The X handle you give locks to that giveaway and can't be changed once it's set. An alerts entry only stands while those alerts are on: switch them off while the giveaway is still running and it comes back off.
- Sharing — one extra entry when somebody actually opens your link, not for pressing Share. One per giveaway, however many people open it.
- Referrals — one extra entry per giveaway when someone who signed up through your link enters it, however many friends join.
- Daily streak — check in seven days running for one extra entry in every giveaway you enter, or thirty days running for two. Two is the most a streak is worth; past that it's just a number to be proud of. The bonus counts from the streak you're holding when the draw runs.
More entries mean a better chance, not a guaranteed win.
How winners are picked
We don't pick them. We can't.
- Every giveaway is tied to a random number that gets published at a set time in the future, by a public service that has nothing to do with us. While the giveaway is running that number doesn't exist yet, so there's no way to line it up with a favourite.
- The moment entries close, the list of entries is locked and published. Nothing can be added, removed or reordered after that.
- The winner comes from those two things and nothing else: the random number, and the locked list. There's no secret ingredient only we hold.
- When it's over, every giveaway has a Verify this draw button. Press it and your own browser goes and gets the random number from the source, then redoes the working in front of you. If our answer didn't match, it would tell you.
Your name never appears on the entry list. Each giveaway gives you a different random-looking entry id, so the draw can be checked without following anyone around the site.
The public service is called drand, if you'd like to look it up.
Claiming a prize
- Winners have 3 days from the draw to claim on the site. There's nothing to fill in beyond confirming the claim — you can add a contact if you'd like one, but it's optional.
- If you took the Follow on X entry, claiming also means sending us one short message on X from the handle on your entry, so we know the account is yours. The page gives you the exact words to send.
- Prizes arrive in your RareFreebies inbox, usually within 24 hours of us checking your claim, sometimes longer. If something looks wrong, get in touch.
- Miss the window and we draw a replacement, carrying on from the next pick in the same sequence so the earlier results still check out. Whoever is replaced is told why.
- Prizes are delivered as described on the giveaway. There's no cash alternative, and prizes can't be exchanged or transferred.
- Give us false details and the prize is void.
Fair play
We can remove an entry, or block an account from all giveaways, for multiple accounts, bots or scripted entries, faked task completions, the same X handle used across several accounts, referral rings, abuse of other players or staff, or anything else clearly aimed at gaming the draw. If you think that happened to you by mistake, write to contact@rarefreebies.com.
If a giveaway is cancelled
We may call a giveaway off if the prize falls through or something goes wrong with the draw. The giveaway stays on the site with the reason shown, nobody is charged anything (entry is free), and entries for it simply don't count towards anything.
Your details
Entering uses the account details you already gave us. Your X handle, if you give one, is used only for that one check and is never posted anywhere. Winners appear on the public list only as their entry id — never a name, never a tag. See the privacy notice for the rest, including how to delete everything.
Changes
If these rules change, the date at the top changes with them. A giveaway already running keeps the rules it started under.
