Who we are
RareFreebies (rarefreebies.com) is a fan site that tracks Brawl Stars freebies and runs giveaways. It isn't affiliated with Supercell. Questions or requests: contact@rarefreebies.com.
Without an account
- Claimed freebies you tick are saved only in your browser.
- Alerts: if you turn them on, we store your browser's push address so we can send them. Turning alerts off deletes it.
- Feedback and freebie submissions store what you type, plus an email or screenshot only if you add one. Submissions also store a salted hash of your IP address, to limit how many come from one place.
When you sign in
You sign in with Google or Discord. We never see your password. We receive and store:
- your name, email address and profile picture,
- your Google or Discord account ID, and your Discord username if you use Discord,
- the freebies you mark as claimed, so they sync across your devices.
We use this to keep you signed in, to allow one account per email, and to show your claimed freebies on every device. If alerts are on, your subscription is linked to your account so a “you won” notification can reach you.
We ask Google and Discord only for your basic profile and email. We use that data only for what this notice describes, and never sell it or pass it to anyone else.
Giveaways
- We store your entries, the bonus actions you complete, your daily streak, and the messages in your inbox.
- Your X handle, if you give one, is stored and locked to that giveaway. It's used only to check a win, and never posted.
- Referrals: opening someone's share link records who invited you, so their entry can be credited.
- When a draw ends, we publish the entry list so anyone can check the draw was fair. Each entry shows a random-looking id that is different for every giveaway — never a name.
- Winners appear on that list as the same entry id. Claiming asks only that you confirm it; a contact is optional.
- If an account is blocked from giveaways, we keep its id and the reason.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts the site and its database, and keeps basic request logs.
- Google or Discord handle signing in.
- Google Fonts serves the site's fonts.
We don't sell your data or use advertising trackers.
Cookies
- rf_session keeps you signed in, and rf_hint tells the page there's a session to ask about. Both last up to 30 days, or until you sign out.
- rf_oauth lasts ten minutes, and only while you're signing in.
- rf_ref lasts 30 days and records who referred you.
There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Age
You need to be 13 or older to sign in or enter giveaways. If you're under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your account until you delete it. Go to Your account, then Delete account: your account, sign-in methods, sessions, synced claimed freebies, entries, completed tasks, shares, streak, inbox, referral records and X handle are removed straight away, and any alerts are unlinked from the account. Published draw results stay public as proof of fair draws, and they carry entry ids rather than names. For anything else, email contact@rarefreebies.com.
